Katie Fraizer will be working on behalf of Virginia’s wineries, vineyards and industry partners , building upon the exemplary efforts of her predecessors Patrick Cushing and Matt Conrad. Frazier has worked with the Virginia Agribusiness Council over the past seven years. In that position she focused on legislative and regulatory issues that impacted the entire agribusiness industry, including environmental, farmland preservation, and local government issues. She looks forward to her direct role in providing the policy, resources, and tools to produce world renowned grapes and wines and continue the growth of this industry.  During a meeting of the ABC Advisory Group last week, Frazier was tasked with assisting the VABC in its plans to revise Virginia’s ABC regulations. With a major overhaul of these regulations overdue for several years, particularly in regards to the changes and growth in the wine industry, this promises to be a time consuming task for the next several months.
