2024 Summer Technical Meeting and Social Registration Now Open!
Join us on June 13th at Bluestone Vineyard in Bridgewater, Virginia for a day focusing on Technologies to Support Vineyard Health. We are also hosting a Beginner Grape Grower half-day session the afternoon on the 12th. Spanish translation is available for both sessions. thanks to Beth Sastre-Flores, Loudoun County Extension.

SPRING 2024
2024 VCE Virtual Vineyard Meetings Begin in April
VIRTUAL VINEYARD MEETINGS will be hosted monthly by Virginia Cooperative Extension beginning at 1 p.m. April 4. The free meetings will be held the first Thursday of every month during the growing season and are each expected to run 45-60 minutes. Topics to be covered include viticulture and grape pathology based on input from Sentinel Vineyard Core Group members and other growers, as well as weather trends, seasonal vineyard management and other related issues. The Virginia Tech team will include Assistant Professor of Viticulture and Extension Specialist Drew Harner, Grape Pathologist Mizuho Nita, and viticulture research and extension associate Tremain Hatch.

2024 VVA Winter Technical Meeting to Be Held Feb. 21-22
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN for the 2024 VVA Winter Technical Meeting to be held Feb. 21-22 at the Omni Hotel in Charlottesville. The impacts of climate change on vineyard management and the worldwide glut of wine and grapes are scheduled to be two of the main topics. Details and registration can be found here.
