You may notice that the price of the Production Guide has increased. This is due to a price increase by the publisher. We will still pass this book on to our members at cost, which is now $72.00. As always the Wine Grape Production Guide is available from the website or at our Technical Meetings.

2017 VVA dues invoices have been emailed. Please email any staff changes, contact updates or questions. Dues can be paid online from the email link or you can print and mail. All members with dues not paid by 3/1/17 will be removed from membership. Skipped a year or two and want to rejoin please use this form. The Virginia Vineyards Association announced today that Bill Freitag, owner of Toll Gate Farm vineyard, Flint Hill, VA, is the 2016 Grower of the Year. Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Todd Haymore presented the VVA Grower of the Year award to Bill Freitag. Mr. Freitag, chairman of the association’s Sustainability Workbook Committee, has overseen the development of the Virginia Sustainable Winegrowers Self-Assessment Guide, a tool that helps individual growers transition toward “green” products and sustainable land stewardship.
