The VVA will be holding it’s biannual election for positions on the board of directors this November. We are seeking all interested parties to submit their names or the names of people they would like to nominate to the committee for inclusion on the election ballot. There are a couple guidelines:
- The nominee must be a current VVA member (current list is on our Membership page) and
- The nominee must be aware and accepting of the nomination.
As you know, these positions are voluntary, extremely important to our industry and necessary to continue the gains that have been made to date. The involvement of our members has been the key to our success in the past and the continuation of that success in the future.
The current boards of directors, including the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary have reached the term limits imposed by the bylaws and therefore are no longer allowed to run for those positions. All officer positions will be on the election ballot.
To submit your nominations to the committee please send an email with:
- Your Name,
- Nominee’s name and contact information (email and/or phone number),
- Position the nomination is for.
The closing date for nominations will be November 6th, 2012.
