Virginia’s Pesticide Collection Program assists agricultural producers with the proper disposal of unwanted pesticides. This is an event furnished by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), with participation from Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Service.

To Participate Growers are asked to complete and submit the below form ~30 Days Prior to the collection event, this is to ensure proper receipt and handling of the materials to be collected.
The Program is set up to function like a drive through whereby participants will line up in their vehicles and move into the unloading zone, event staff will then unload materials from your vehicle. Once they are finished you may leave the collection area.

Virginia is divided into five regions. Each year the program is conducted in a different region. Once all five regions have been served, the program starts another cycle.
Even if the clinic is not in your region this year, growers across the state are all eligible to participate with the program.
The 2025 Pesticide collection Program will serve the counties of Accomack, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Isle of Wight, James City, New Kent, Northampton, Prince George, Powhatan, Southampton, Surry, Sussex, York and the cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Petersburg, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.
